Normally really good but Not at their best today. Kitchen staff slow and looked like they didn’t know what they were doing. They was hardly any Veg, looking and tasting very dry and Yorkshire pudding dry and horrible. Waitress doing the kitchen staffs jobs bless, couldn’t get on with her jobs. (Not Fair on her really)... doing everyone else’s job, No refund even tho complained to manager that didn’t eat all of it because is was a rubbish roast.....

Yesterday myself and 5 members of the family went to celebrate my sins 40th birthday. The carvery was delicious. Those who didn't have the carvery said their meal was delicious. Due to vivid restrictions we couldn't celebrate with the 10- 12 people as we usually do, therefore going back tonight with to carry on the celebrations.
There was an incident at the end of our visit which Theresa and Alex handled really well and kept it contained to the entrance. I was impressed at how they coped with the situation. I'll definitely be returning again when the 2nd lockdown is over.

Absolutely disgusted by this establishment. Booked a table two weeks ago after being bombard with emails. Following COVID 19 guidelines I arrived 10 mins before so not to stand in a queue and block access points I also took my family and my elderly disabled father. Only to arrive to a queue backed up around the premises, social distanceing was not in force or being followed. I spoke to Kirsty the duty manager and she informed me that the table is not reserved and I would have to wait at least 40 mins to an hour to just get in the #stonehouse #lordlouis then on top of that I could wait a further hour for food however she had no clue what’s so ever as it was absolute chaos. So if you have booked a table there as a treat over the next few days I would think again, however If you are keen to catch COVID 19 I fully recommend a visit to the lord louis you will be penned in a queue with no social distancing in place (I do have photos to prove this as well) I do not recommend going there and I will now boycott this establishment and voice my opinion on other social media site as well as leaving reviews on the relevant web pages.

Been here twice recently both times the food has not been very hot...very disappointed ?

Beautiful cosy delightful pub, excellent staff, very energetic and welcoming. Would highly recommend this establishment for future. Look forward to returning. The place is clean and very pleasant. Thank you.
