After having to cancel my policy within the 14 days cooling off period, I'm still awaiting a refund. It has now been over two months, despite citizen advice clearly stating the law requires a maximum of 30 days for a refund. I have made several phone calls, which are answered with an abrupt "Nova Insurance. No morning, no introduction, leaving me feeling rather awkward. It was explained to me that the insurers have not yet refunded my money, but not a single agent offered to chase them up, bar one.....who didn't! I now have to go to the ombudsman to pursue why I have not receive my refund, and have now gone direct to the insurer, by passing Nova, as they clearly have no interest in giving money back, just taking it.
