Where do I even begin? This was the dirtiest, worst managed and uninviting restaurant I have ever been in. Complete with dirty glasses (lipstick stains and pieces of dirt on the sides) and cutlery, served in a rusting bucket with exploded sauce sachets lingering at the bottom. Moreover, dirty menus with unexplainable sticky sauce on, a ripped specials board with font you cannot read even when sitting at the table in front of it, the final touch, a misspelling of the word "ice cream". Unwiped tables and chairs, again surfaced in sticky layers of grime and unpleasant messes. 4/6 of the meals we tried to order first time round were unavailable, with 2/6 of the drinks having the same outcome. When we were finally served drinks by a trainee waitress, we had residues on all of the bottles at the bottom as they had not even bothered to shake them. The window and door that separates the bar and restaurant, were covered in grime and smudges with fingerprints and dirt, even a tomato sauce of some sort, suggesting these hadn't been cleaned for at least a month. The overhead of the bar, contains water stains and cobwebs, even visible to surrounding tables. Dirty glasses were piled up on the bar in their fifties with glass collectors only being able to carry 3 glasses at a time, portraying how long these glasses were sat on the bar, cluttering and still not being taken to be cleaned. Crowded and noisy with uneven lighting, complete, with trainee waiters clumsily rushing about everywhere. On the presence of food, we get uncooked chips, burnt meatballs, unmistakable hairs in the dinner and one of the meals we ordered missing, as the "trainee waiter" hadn't heard that order. The WiFi didn't work in the restaurant part of the building. I was disgusted, and so with no manager in sight, and only an assistant, after ten minutes of arguing for our meals, we walked out with a full refund - the best part of the whole experience in my book.
Great Place , I would like to mention the New
Land Lady Rebecca & Patsy the Host who was
very nice & friendly, and made us feel safe
