Warning - Dishonest and disgraceful service: (Pre-sales service was good and friendly until they had my money) I bought a £2,000 used motorbike from West London Yamaha in March 2015. I was handed 2 manufacturers keys, which I rightfully paid for. When I arrived home I realised they made a mistake with my spare key by giving me someone else’s key. I called the shop and they admitted they have given me the wrong key and requested that I return the spare key so that they can swop it for my original key. I live quite far away from the shop but nevertheless I returned the key the following day, after which they told me they couldn't find my key. Further, they decided that it was sufficient to simply supply me with a blank key and told me I can go get it cut "for a fiver" somewhere else. I thought this was a nasty trick to get me to bring the key but at the same time I thought £5 and spending 30min on getting it cut isn’t that big deal. After shopping around for a couple of days, the cheapest deal I got was £25 for cutting my key. I eventually went back to WLY (due to a faulty component they sold me) and I mentioned to them that I certainly can't get the key cut anywhere for the £5 they told me. I asked them if they could help me out by paying for the key cutting service (since it was THEIR FAULT in the first instance) but THEY REFUSED TO CORRECT THEIR OWN MISTAKE. You would expect a bit more after sales service from them or at least the decency to admit and fix the problem they have caused their customer but WLY choose GREED ABOVE HONESTY. At that time the manager stepped in and made it very clear that they have supplied a blank key and that it's my problem getting it cut - despite the fact that I have already paid for 2 keys which they have lost.

**** UPDATE ON MY PREVIOUS REVIEW ***** I informed WEST LONDON YAMAHA that they leave me no other option than to write reviews of my experience. Despite that, they were not willing to help me. I wrote my reviews and informed them of it. Since then they have asked me to remove it and in exchange they are willing to replace my defective topbox reflector (which is still under warranty - and therefore it's expected of them to replaced it). I have not removed the review because I think it's only fair that people know how they treat their customers. I've been waiting for 2 weeks now for the replacement and they have just informed me today that they are no longer willing to replace the defective topbox reflector, despite it being under warrantee. Please learn from my mistakes ... There are many other dealers out there that will give you much better after-sales service.

Complete failure of communication. If you leave your bike with these guys call every day for status - they won't call you.
