My husband and I visited Chata for the second time on Saturday (10-1-15) and all I can say is it is a truly wonderful experience. The restaurant decor is styled like an old polish cottage and has a great family feel to it. Downstairs is dimly lit and has a lovely ambience. Unfortunately we have not been able to sit downstairs yet as when we have been this was not open as the restaurant was not too busy. The owner is very welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to. He was very helpful in suggesting what we could try from the menu and the polish vodkas! The food both times has been fantastic. I would recommend the beetroot soup with dumplings, I can't get enough of it. For our mains we had beef goulash and beef roll with excellent side salads! I can also recommend the hunters stew. We will back again ...it's a must try in Northampton.
