Today I went to Timpson in Sainsbury's Meole Brace. Have shopped with Timpson in Shrewsbury for over 30 years and always had great service. Today, to my surprise, I was told, very rudely, that the offhand man serving me had never heard of leather polish spray. When I said that I have been buying it for a very long time he asked how long ago was that and walked off. I then found it myself at the front of the display of shoe care products and commented that he didn't know his stock. He couldn't have cared less if I bought anything or not. There was no apology and I could tell that the kind gentleman who served me in the end,was embarassed. I once worked in retail and as I said when I was paying, if that man carries on with his attitude there will be no customers left. What has happened to staff training? I will, in future, be making my purchases in Shrewbury. If I could rate my experience with no stars I would. Rude, rude rude!!!!
massive thanks to ash and colleague, sorry didn't catch his name! I was desperate for a car key whilst stranded on retail park as mine had snapped off in ignition! Both guys were amazing and so patient and helpful, cannot thank them enough for getting me sorted.. Brilliant service and kindness
