After buying from them in June 2017 I had to repeatedly return the car to them with problems over the next 4 months. I eventually got an independent inspection carried out and presented them with the findings. They took the car in again and carried out all the work - or so they said - which included new brake discs, pads, shock absorbers, etc. Surprise surprise 10 months later all of these things need replaced and guess what they never had been replaced!! Thanks Whitley Bay Motors for your lies and corruption - I now face a £500+ bill but I suppose I should be thankful my family and I are still alive!!!

I bought a car back in June last year. I have had the car 8 months just had a health check done on it and it turns out there is over 1000 pounds worth of work to be done on it. I am sorry for a car I rarely use it and should not need this much work done to it. I will never ever use this garage again very disappointed. I have also been told by a vauxhall garage to get rid of the vehicle. Absolutely fuming.

I bought a car from this dealer recently. Not a great experience. I was told everything was fine with the car and it wasn't until after the keys were handed over that I found out that there was an advisory on that the front brakes were thin on the MOT. Not a problem I thought... until two days later when when they were grinding metal on metal because the calipers had been seized on. Not only that, there was no mention of any advisory regarding the tyres. I had them inspected and one of them had 1.8mm tread left on it which is the legal minimum thus requiring it would need changing and the side walls were perished on all 4 tyres. One of the tyres was badly distorted which is seriously dangerous to drive because the inside structure of the tyre has been compromised. I shudder to think what would have happened if I had a high speed blowout with my wife and child in the car with me. I shouldn't expect to have to spend 400 quid within 2 or three days to make sure my car is roadworthy when it is the legal obligation of the dealer to do just that. I always had the attitude that you take the rough with the smooth with second hand car dealers but this was ridiculous.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!! Our son recently bought a Citroen for £2,300 but now not roadworthy after only 5 months. Disgusting how they only give 1 months warranty when that's not supposed to be legal. Trade and standards have been informed

Do NOT use this company. They'll tell you things have been done which blatantly haven't, their service is terrible. I bought a car in February 2016 which stopped working a few weeks later - a local mechanic found that the pipes from the power steering pump were corroded and leaking. I had no use of the car for weeks. On contacting the company their immediate response was to say I was out of their measly 31 day guarantee time - it was pointed out to them that people actually have 6 months Statutory Rights. As the car couldn't be driven to go to them for repair (probably just as well) they agreed that they would pay our local mechanic to carry out the job. To date, 5 months later, they have still not paid the man despite agreeing to pay by B,A.C.S. This company is a disgrace and, quite frankly, should be closed down.
