Re Birmingham Museums & Art Gallery - Cafe I had lunch here yesterday (Tuesday 14 June). I intended to use my credit card to pay, but realised I could not remember the number, so had to cancel and use an alternative. The Assistant removed the two slips on cancellation and instead of returning these to me, just screwed them up and left them on the counter beside her. I had to ask her to give them to me, and she hesitated to return them, and I had to ask again. She gave me both but seemed to resent my request. The slips had my card number in full on the Merchant copy and just the last 4 digits on the Customer Copy. This is neither safe nor correct practice I believe, and I should like your comments on your staff, and your staff training. J Mathews
